Here it is a brief introduction of the history of VS Factory.

In 2015, they made Panerai PAM 441, PAM 661 and Cartier Ballon Bleu. At that time, the factory made PAM 441 and PAM 661 was called KW. The name they used to sell the Cartier Ballon Bleu is V6.

In the end of 2016, the P.9000 movement from DD was born. They changed the factory’s name to VS.

In 2018, VS published the Seamaster 300 with SG2824 movement and the Seamaster 600 with 8500 and 8900 from DD. They had an automatic production line at that time. And in 2018, the factory started to become famous.

In 2020, the Submariner with DD3135 made by VS was born. The 41mm Submariner and Datejust with DD3235 appeared. 2020 was a golden year for all factories in this industry, they updated their watches very often.

In 2021, VS has been closed for a while.

In 2022, VS back to the business. However, it has consistently been at a disadvantage in its competition with Clean Factory.

Between 2023 and 2024, no big news from VS, but they brought the DD8800 movement and DD4131 movement.

In 2025, in July, after the closure of Clean, VS became the boss in this area.

The second watch is the Nautilus 5711 from BBF, which I think is better than the one made by 3K and PPF. Besides this blue/gray dial version, BBF also produces the white and green one, they are all good. The latest version is V2 now, the dial color, dial printing and grids are more accurate. The Nautilus 5711 also has a free-sprung balance wheel version made by DDF, do not buy this one, its movement not stable. By the way, the jewel bearing of the auto rotor on BBF 324 movement looks more authentic than the one on the 3K 330 movement.

My conclusion

For this gray diamond Datejust, the first choice is VS V2 version, the second choice is the one from Clean Plus.
