The event Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 is still in progress, Rolex published their new models on April 14, and just one week later, the so-called Fake Clean Factory published the replica of the new Datejust with a green lacquer ombre dial. Please check the picture below. Things are really moving fast here. Do you still believe “Fake Clean” is the real Clean Factory? They claimed the dial color has no difference, do you believe? After all, the genuine watch of this new Rolex isn’t even available at boutiques yet. Most likely, the Fake Clean Factory just used the color code from the 40mm smoky green Day-Date dial to replicate it.

Today, Let’s talk about those factories on the market that are disguised as ‘Clean’ factory.
Clean Plus/C Plus
This factory has nothing to do with Clean. Clean Plus already existed when Clean Factory was still alive, but nobody knew them because Clean and VS were too hot. After the closure of Clean, Clean Plus sold watches under the “Clean” label for a while.

Some components come from Clean’s former production lines, but they did not inherit the quality control of Clean. Their watch parts are better than Fake Clean, but still slightly off compared to real Clean. They can compete with VS watches.
RC and Gold
RC and Gold, these two factories have real connection to Clean, they were Clean’s supporting partners in the past. Clean had a plan to make the increased weight watches when it was still alive, both RC and Gold helped Clean to do the test. Now, both factories are starting to stand on their own, especially RC, their Day-Date is very famous. The dial parts on the RC and Gold have a very close quality to that of Clean.
Fake Clean
This factory existed when Clean was active. They used to pick up rejected or surplus parts from Clean. For people who usually bought the replicas from EW or GS, they might feel the watches from Fake Clean are impressive at first, but compared to real Clean, there is still a noticeable gap. For a period of time, the Fake Clean factory built up a certain level of popularity. However, later on, some sellers in the market began impersonating “Fake Clean” and selling even lower-quality watches – so you need to be very careful.
