Recently, OCTA Factory is a hot object people are talking about. It is a new factory that makes high quality replicas of Audemars Piguet and IWC watches in the market, especially after the shut down of APS, many people thought OCTA is previous APS Factory, they think APS returned to this business with a new name OCTA, is this really true? Nobody knows. Today, let us make a review on OCTA Factory, to see what watches they are producing, and how the quality of their watches if being compared with the ones made by APS.
Is OCTA the previous APS Factory?
No. They are not. If OCTA is previous APS, then they should make the same quality watches, but I checked several watches made by OCTA, several details are not finished as good as APS.
Like Clean shut down before, some people thought Clean Plus is previous Clean, actually both factories do not have any connections. When a famous factory was forced to be closed, then some new names will appear in the market, all claiming to be the original factory making a comeback. In reality, they are simply trying to capitalize on the original factory’s reputation and traffic. This has happened several times before, including after Clean and V7 shut down. Now, the same story happened on APS. However, there may be a certain connection between OCTA and APS, or they could not get some important movements and restore the product lines of Audemars Piguet and IWC.
What watches are OCTA currently providing?
In Audemars Piguet, they have Royal Oak 15400, 15500, 15510, 26240, 26238, 15407 Skeleton. And in IWC, they have Portuguese Chrono with 69355 movement, Pilot Chrono watches with 69385 movement.

The IWC Portuguese Chrono watch from APS has better dial details and better hands. Please check the pictures.
Check the two subdials on the watch. We can notice that the numbers of 15, 30, 45 and 60 are slightly thicker on APS.
Conclusion
OCTA got most watch parts including the movement that were used by APS before, but the watches offered by OCTA are not the same as the ones made by APS, although theirs still have a good quality.
