The pace of new releases in the replica watch market is getting slower and slower. The 2026 watch fairs are almost over, and major brands have already launched many new models, yet we still haven’t seen the big replica factories producing them. So what are these factories doing now? They are competing against each other, constantly trying to outdo one another, while the products themselves are becoming increasingly homogeneous.
Take Rolex replicas for example. You see factories like AR, VS, Victory, Clean Plus and others all fighting in the same space. But honestly, are the quality differences between their Rolex replicas really that huge? I don’t think so.
The same thing is happening in the Audemars Piguet market. Recently, VS Factory entered the scene and released both the 15500 and this 15510. Their goal is clearly to challenge APS’s position in the industry, but I don’t think that will be easy.
This VS 15510 is indeed a very good watch, but it is not “the best on the market” like many sellers claim. Compared with APS, it has certain advantages, but APS’s 15510 is also better in some areas.
A lot of people say the blue dial on the VS 15510 looks better than the APS version. However, if you have actually compared them with the genuine watch, you will notice that APS’s blue tone is slightly closer to the authentic one. On the other hand, I think VS did a better job with the texture pattern inside each dial square.
As for the differences in the second hand and minute hand, I personally don’t think they matter much. APS used an older version of the 15510 for their mold development, while VS copied the latest release. Nobody really knows what subtle changes Audemars Piguet may have made to the genuine watch over the years.
One advantage of the VS 15510 is that the first links of the bracelet have a much wider range of movement, unlike the APS version, whose links feel too stiff and fixed.
The movement inside is the DD4302. It is not a true free-sprung balance movement because the balance wheel does not have adjustable weights. This means that regulating the watch in the future could become quite difficult.
My recommendation is simple: if you want a truly free-sprung 15510, I would still suggest going with the APS version.
